High School/College Prep Session
Dates: June 30-July 3, 2013 Girls Sold Out as of 6/3/13 The Regis Soccer Academy High School session is designed to prepare players for their upcoming high school, competitive club, and eventual college careers, the RSA HS Session will employ men and women’s college coaches encompassing various levels from around the country to train, evaluate, and potentially recruit our Academy participants. Demanding technical and tactical training sessions will be complimented with fitness assessments for aerobic capacity, speed, agility,and quickness. Video analysis of evening matches will reinforce concepts taught by our college coaching staff during the day. Educational lectures/demonstrations on Sports Psychology, Nutrition, and Strength &Conditioning from experts in their field will further enhance the participant’s RSA experience. It is our goal through our training, lectures, assessments, and matches to communicate the expectations of college coaches to those players seeking a college playing opportunity in the future. Typical daily schedule:
Extended Day Participants arrive at 8:45am reporting directly to the fields and depart at 8:15pm after the evening matches. Lunch and Dinner are included and participants will have an air-conditioned space to rest between sessions.
Dates: June 24-27, 2013 Our goal in Session I and II is to emphasize technique and skill development in a fun yet demanding and positive manner. Individual and small group tactics are developed to complete the 10-13 year-old players. Evening matches permit players to “put it all together” from the day’s training with coaching evaluation and feedback given throughout evening play.
