When and where is check in/check out? 
Check-in and check-out will occur at DeSmet Hall where the overnight participants will reside.  See Map/Directions page. (Rascal Rangers will check-in at "The Beach Area" on campus.

May I combine discounts or coupons when paying my RSA registration?
Only one (1) discount or coupon, if any, may be used per registered partcipant per session.  RSA reserves the right to adjust the balance due if multiple discounts or coupons have been applied inadvertently or intentionally in the registration check-out process.

What should I bring to Academy? 
Each participant should bring his/her medical authorization form and Academy confirmation letter. A list of suggested items can be found under Academy Paperwork, one Academy dri-fit shirt and soccer ball will be provided to each participant.

What if a participant must leave Academy early?
If a participant absolutely must leave the Academy prior to it’s completion, we will provide a pro rated credit for that participant for the following year. The $200 deposit is non-refundable but is transferable to the next year’s RSA or to a family member. Please contact the Academy 24 hours or ASAP (in an emergency situation) to inform the directors of an early check-out in order to ensure a smooth check-out.

Is goalkeeper specific training provided?

For RSA ID Elite, a college GK trainer will provide training to include technical functional training in the morning session, tactical functional training in the afternoon, including integration with the field players, and supervisory warm-up and evaluation during the evening matches. Participants who select to attend the RSA HS as a GK must remain exclusively within the the goalkeeper training group and will not be permitted to also train a portion of the day as a field player though they may see some time as a field player in evening matches. If less than eight (8) keepers register in the RSA ID Elite, a full refund will be offered less a $20 administrative fee or the keeper may switch to field player status to further develop foot skills and an overall sense of individual and team tactics.

GK training is offered in the afternoon sessions for both Junior Elite June & July by a RSA staff coach. Players may choose GK afternoon sessions on any of the first three days of Junior Elite. As we believe technical skills of passing, receiving, dribbling, and ball-striking are important for 10-13 year-old keepers, all participants will train as field players in morning sessions. Keepers who attend GK training should expect to play at least one half in goal during the evening matches on the day they attend GK training. There will be no specific, written, keeper evaluation given at the end of Junior Elite.

What kind of supervision is provided for the participants off the field between sessions and overnight?
Between all sessions and overnight stays participants are supervised at all times in the residence halls by current Regis University Men’s and Women’s Soccer Players as well as other Academy staff. Each Regis Soccer Academy staff member undergoes both state and federal background checks on a yearly basis before being hired.

When is my final Academy balance due?
Remaining balance is due on or before Friday June 8th, 2018.  We will auto-bill the credit card on file for any balance due and will send you a receipt after the transaction is complete.

Is there a certified athletic trainer on staff?
The Regis Soccer Academy has a certified athletic trainer on staff available 24 hours a day during the Academy. Participants are expected to bring their own athletic tape if they need preventative taping for an existing condition.

What is the ratio of participants to staff?
In order for each participant to get the most out of the week, the Regis Soccer Academy will always have a participant to staff ratio of no more than 9 to 1.

When is registration closed?
Registration for each week of the Academy will be closed 3 days prior to start of the Academy and is limited to the first 150 deposited participants for Junior Elite and 180 participants for the ID Elite.

Is there a waiting list for the Academy?
The Regis Soccer Academy typically has a few last minute cancellations for each Academy session and will have a waiting list based on a first come first serve basis for those participants that have already deposited or paid their balance in full.

Is there another way to register besides online?
The Regis Soccer Academy will also accept telephone registrations by credit card or check.

Can we register an entire team?
Yes, a minimum of 10 players constitutes a team and each participant will receive a 10% discount. Teams will train and compete together and will reside in close proximity in DeSmet Hall.  Please contact Alex Schultz for details on how to register an entire team.

Can the residential participants choose their roommate(s)?
Definitely! We will try to accommodate all roommate requests up to three participants per room. Please specify your roommate requests on the online registration form.

How much spending money should each participant bring?
$50 is sufficient. We will have an Academy store in the residence halls with Gatorade Prime, Fuel, and Recovery products, snacks, water, pizza and Regis Soccer accessories for sale.

Can the participants swim during the week?
As of the summer of 2009, the Regis University administration closed the on campus, indoor pool for cost containment measures.  A pool will not be available for use during RSA sessions.

Can parents come and watch the training sessions?
All parents and family members are invited to attend any training session to observe only. Evening matches are a great way to see and experience the environment of the Academy.

How can parents contact participants during Academy?
All parents and family can send an email which will be given to the intended participant, in confidence, after each training session.

What if a registered participant must cancel for the current academy session?
If a registered participant cannot attend the Academy session for which he/she is registered in 2018, the $250, non-refundable deposit will be transferred to RSA 2019.  Alternatively, a family may choose to cancel the registration completely with $125 refunded to the credit card used in registration and $125 retained by RSA for non-recoverable fees, processing, and handling.
